Twelve women have participated in all of the 10km events so far, and seven of us improved each time out. Analyzing the performances of these riders allows the calculation of the EvtFactor for each of the 10km WTT events thus far. We see that tonight had the highest ranking of the three days. Overall, 25 of the 28 women improved upon their previous 2010 WTT 10km best, with the most improved rider being Louise Boutin who upped her cube speed by more than 30%! 16 of 33 riders upped their previous 10km database best with Christina Czaban exceeding the 30% improvement mark in that regard. Next week she plans to be out on her brother's fast aero-bar equipped bike, and we'll look forward to seeing how she does. It was great to have Catherine Bridges back after a long absence from time trials. She last rode a WTT event on 1997-Jun-24. In 2001, Catherine was involved in a serious car accident which left her unable to cycle for a few years. She still feels a little unsteady and so is more comfortable on a tandem. Partner Ryan Gilchrist was the stoker on their tandem tonight.

(Note that I'd gladly type in the results each time, getting the results up within a few of hours of the event, as I did for the WTT series for the decade beginning in 1998, and for the OTT series from 1999-2002 and again in 2006. Regardless, I will continue to donate this statistical time trial result service to you, even though doing so has, surprisingly, resulted in my EXPULSION from the OBC ! I guess I must at least thank the OBC executive for taking on the grunt work and leaving me to do just the more interesting side of my result service, but I do want to make it absolutely clear that I would gladly help the OBC Board input the results, lest complaints about me just lazily sucking in the results surface! The choice is theirs. If they want the help, I'm here and will do it - even if I remain expelled! Such is my level of dedication to public service and disinterest in private politics.)
